HIST 96.44 Research in the History of Religion and Politics in the Americas

This History 96 seminar supports investigations focused on the intersections of religion and politics in the Americas, especially but not exclusively Latin America, as well as other regions of the world. Students will investigate political religious networks that defy national and regional boundaries, and will conduct research with local, regional, national or imperial framing. The choice of historical period is wide open, and the definition of politics is capacious.
