101.5 Applied Programming for Data Scientists
In this project based course, students will learn data science methods and best practices. They will then apply these lessons to a data science research project of their own choosing (in consultation with instructors). This course also provides students with the unique opportunity to engage in hands-on data science projects, while working under the direction of a unique set of instructors coming from backgrounds in Quantitative Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, and the Digital Humanities. This course is available to QBS MS students who place out of QBS 101, MS Students who have completed their first 4 quarters, and PhD students. Instructor Permission required.
