Controversy surrounds the future of Jerusalem - and not just in our times.  For more than 3,000 years, ever since Jerusalem first appeared on the stage of history as a Holy City and the City of th Kingdom, it has been envloped in political and theological struggles.  Countless battles and wars have been associated with Jerusalem, the city that is home to the three montheistic religions.
