CHEM 151 Physical Organic Chemistry
Modern theories of organic reaction mechanisms, particularly the use
of physical-chemical principles to predict the effect of changing
reaction variables, especially reactant structures, on reactivity. The
structure, stability, and reactivity of carbanions and carbocations, as
well as SN1 and SN2 reactions, are discussed.
