GEOG 5.01 Life in the Anthropocene

Most scientists believe we now live in The Anthropocene, a period defined by the unprecedented influence of human activity on the Earth and its ecosystems. This course will investigate the phyiscal and ecological consequences of the Anthropocene. We will examine the global impacts of climate change and land-use change to better understand the future feedbacks between climate, ecosystems, and human societies.
