PHIL 19.08 Marx, Nietzsche, and Freud

This course offers an overview of the thought of Marx, Nietzsche, and Freud, three Nineteenth-Century thinkers notable for their attempts at a “ruthless criticism of all that exists”. The course will offer a brief survey of their principal contributions with a particular emphasis on the methods they fashioned for this critique.
