MES 15.05 A Cultural History of Islam and the Muslim World

This course explores the cultural history of the Muslim world from the rise of Islam in the seventh century to modern times. It draws on sources from art, literature, history, philosophy, and other areas to offer a deeper and more nuanced understanding of Islamic cultures across different periods, regions, and national traditions.
