COSC 89.39 Graph-based Machine Learning
Complex data can often be represented as graphs that capture relationships among objects. Such network structures are essential for modeling social, technological, and biological systems. This course examines the computational, algorithmic, and modeling challenges that arise when analyzing large-scale graphs. Through studying graph structures and their properties, students will learn machine learning methods and data mining techniques designed to extract meaningful patterns and insights from diverse real-world networks.
