PHIL 50.42 Current Research in Ethical Theory

This course will focus on recent work in ethical theory concerning issues such as free will and moral responsibility; the nature of rationality; the evolution of morality; the (purported) objectivity of morality; the nature of normative authority; moral motivation and moral worth; the foundations of moral obligation; the value of autonomy; and the methodology of ethical inquiry.
