SART 17.25 AV Installation Art

This special topics course explores installation art within the fields of sound, music, and video for creating multimedia works for immersion, interaction, and experience. We will investigate the sonic properties of materials and spaces and how they can inform the direction for sound sculpture works and sound compositions. We will also look at how the spaces we embody, occupy, and visit can be a generative digestion for video multimedia installations.
