Biotechnology - MBT
The Master of Science in Biotechnology is a 10-month fully residential program spanning September to June. The curriculum integrates rigorous scientific coursework with intensive, hands-on laboratory training across all three terms. The program requires 13 units of coursework — all required, with no electives — ensuring every student graduates with a comprehensive and consistent skill set.
The program is proudly hosted by the Institute for Biomolecular Targeting (bioMT) and sits at the intersection of the Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies and the Geisel School of Medicine. This unique placement gives you access to Dartmouth’s world‑class research facilities and a community that lives and breathes translational science.
