MUS 24 Sound Studies

These seminars study sound in its material and metaphorical forms. Each course offers varied perspectives on sound’s cultural, musical, and technological modes. Through reading, listening, and creative projects, students will engage in the production, reproduction, and interpretation of diverse sonic environments, from recorded audio to ecological soundscapes.
