RUSS 41 Advanced Conversation and Composition

Advanced Russian grammar through the study of the Russian short story and film, a brief synopsis of Russian history and the role of women in a changing multi-ethnic society of Russia and Tatarstan. Students will continue to develop their spoken, written and reading proficiency in the Russian language. This class is a vivid example of an interdisciplinary workshop: analyzing historical and social implications for people during political changes in Russian society, issues of gender, ethnicity and modern families.
